About Us
Our History

In 1983 Joyce Cobb met, and later married, Brian R. Sirois. Combining her vocal, lyrical and musical ideas with his songwriting skills, they began to compose together. It was soon apparent they had a great partnership.

Brian later contacted Thomas Nawrot. Tom, a master musician (guitar, bass and keyboards) began his career at a young age, also playing in several groups, including a couple with Brian. He studied music theory in college, and became an accomplished musician. He agreed to collaborate with them on their first CD single "Hold On To God" and their music was complete. They are now composing an album together and it should be released in the near future.

All of them were out there when they were young trying to get their musical careers off the ground, but it became evident when they a got together later that it was their destiny to combine all of their talents and abilities for one spiritual purpose. That purpose was to spread the word of God, Our Almighty Father, through their music and whenever they spoke to other people about their testimonies and trials that they went through as they grew up.

Earliest Memories:
When I was in Junior High I loved singing and acting. When I was asked to be in a group talent show, fashion first show, plays, I was first in line. During my junior year I thought that I wanted to be Miss Junior High and I came in second runner up. In my heart I always knew my career. My interest would be in music. Singing in our home church and other churches. People would always say that I had a beautiful voice.
As I was growing up, my mother and my dad would always sing in the church. My father, being the pastor at that time, my mother would sing a solo before my father preached. Throughout those years they selected me to go to the district meetings to represent the church with a song.

After leaving home I started working in our family construction business, while pursuing a career at Wayne State University in business administration. I also sang and did some modeling on weekends. I joined The First Born church, they always had something going on, like talent shows and beauty pageants, as well as conventions and I was asked to sing and to participate. Ultimately, I chose to pursue a career as a lead vocalist.

Earliest Memories:
All through my childhood, when I first began to listen and understand the complete beauty of music, (singing, orchestras, classical, instrumentals and others), I wanted to be a complete musician (vocal and playing instruments). I wished and prayed to God that I could play all, but soon realized I could not learn all, so the instrument that caught my undivided attention was Drums first. Then, realizing that I couldn't make that beautiful music I was hearing, I started learning guitar.

I knew my calling was drums, I was beating on every thing I could beat on when a song came on and my legs could not stop going up and down. So, drums was it. I asked my parents if it was possible to get a drum set and WALLAH, I got a drum set for Christmas. I started taking drum lessons. After two weeks felt I wasn't accomplishing anything. I quit and started learning on my own. I knew I had it in me. At 11 years old my first group was started.
My musical career started on Anne St. in Allen Park, Michigan. With my friend, Marsden Lapointe, guitar and vocals, and my brother Gary L. Sirois, guitar, and we were on our way.

After we broke up I played drums in quite a few bands with friends like Rick Como (vocal and guitar) Tom Nawrot (lead guitar and vocal), and other great musicians that I was privileged to play with, becoming
friends to this day. I later learned enough guitar to start playing rhythm and sit in with bands that needed a rhythm player. I also started writing my own songs and have used them till this day and by the grace of God, The Almighty, I hope to keep composing songs.

I met and married my wife, Joyce Cobb (lead vocals), in 1983 and started combining our musical talents. We wrote our first song "Hold On To God" in 2000.

I located a dear old friend and band mate, Tom Nawrot, that played lead and rhythm guitar and keyboards. His musical abilities enabled us to complete "Hold On To God". Since that time we have completed an album CD with 8 original songs and currently working on a new album with a new edition to the group, my dear friend and band mate, Rick Como, at bass guitar.

Musical Influences: Motown, The Beatles and the collective “British Invasion”, Allman Brothers, Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, Moody Blues.
Guitar Heroes: Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Larry Carlton, John McLaughlin, Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Musical Taste: Any tastefully done style.
Earliest Memories: Attending a Polish wedding and watching live music being performed. The saxophonist was pushing buttons and this wonderful sound was coming from somewhere. I did not understand it but I loved it. It  was  magic!

I later got a “crystal radio” for Christmas and would tune into the local radio stations WKNR & CKLW, (in Canada, still on the airwaves), and wait for my favorites to be played.
History: After getting my first guitar and learning 3-4 chords I would start writing songs with friends and begin learning our favorite songs. We formed our first band in 6th grade and were soon playing the local teen clubs.

I met Brian in high school and we played together and became friends but our lives took different paths for 25 years. Now we have renewed our friendship and have joined in our mutual musical quest to bring The Word to you, through the incredible vocal talents of Brian’s wife, Joyce. Thanks to our God given musical gifts we are please to use the “universal” language of music for God’s work.

Thank You for listening to our music

God Bless,

Earliest Memories:
As a youngster, I remember waking up on weekends to Big Band, Andy Williams, Robert Goulet. My mother would stack these albums up as she did house cleaning. At 5 years old, I started accordion lessons on Saturday morning. That was short lived as it interfered with my favorite cartoon, Mighty Mouse. Several years later I took lessons from a nun that taught piano. Took lessons for several months, enough to perform at a recital. My interest was not in keyboards at that time. I was most interested in guitar. I saved my allowance and started a 10 week guitar course that included a guitar for practice.
Started grade school at St. Mary Magdalene in Melvindale, Michigan. I soon met Brian Sirois, we became lifelong friends. Brian had a band at the time, The Generations, with his brother Gary and friend, Marsden. Brian and I would practice and jam together.

My first day of high school, Holy Redeemer in Detroit, I met Tom Nawrot and Frank Bushing. They were from Dearborn Heights and had a band, The Living End. The following Saturday I rode my bicycle over for their practice. I ended up sitting in with them as their rhythm player was absent. I soon talked with Brian, Marsden, Tom, Frank, suggesting we form a new group. This collaboration became known as “Ye Blommin’ Lot”. We went on to play many party’s, teen night clubs, school dances and battle-of-the-bands. This went on for much of our high school years. Eventually we all went our different ways and formed or joined other bands.

I lost touch with Brian and Tom for many years. I went into graphic design to quench my creative juices. A few years back I reconnected with Brian and he told me what he was doing with his wife, Joyce “The Voice”, and Tom. I offered to assist with their graphical needs for the band, and to contribute what musical talents I could.
